Peter Pan Preschool is a non-profit community owned preschool which caters for children 3-6 years and operates Monday – Friday from 8.15am – 3.45pm during school terms. We are located in Wangi Wangi, Newcastle Region, NSW.
Set in a large garden setting our outdoor area is spacious, adventurous and exciting. Our service facilitates a play-based learning environment and learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities. The centre has been in operation for over 60 years and has adopted the Early Years Learning Framework. The framework’s vision is for all children to experience play-based learning that is engaging and builds success for life.
Starting in 2023, the NSW state government is making a landmark investment of $1.3 billion over 4 years to make preschool more affordable for families. This fee relief is provided through the NSW government's Start Strong Affordable preschool initiative. Please note you may only access start strong fee relief through one eligible preschool at any given time.
We at Peter Pan Preschool acknowledge and respect the Traditional custodians of the land upon which we walk, work and live. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present and respect culture and traditions of all Aboriginal people.

EXCEEDING NATIONAL QUALITY STANDARD
In 2014 & 2019 Peter Pan Preschool achieved a rating of exceeding, with all 7 areas of the national quality standard being also rated exceeding
